Whether we are exploring the relationship we have with ourselves or with others, I believe compassion and loving-presence are essential to understanding the parts of ourselves that feel tender and/or condemned. It isn’t uncommon for these tender parts to appear to be stuck in patterns that seem to further disconnect us from ourselves and others. However, these parts have a lot to tell us. They often have a legacy of hurt that they’re trying to protect us from ever experiencing again. I propose somewhat of a radical idea: what if we sincerely thanked those parts for keeping us safe for so long AND tried something new? What would that be like?

I value creating a collaborative, non-hierarchical space where you feel comfortable to truly come as you are and see what unfolds next. I have received post-graduate training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Hakomi, Gestalt, and Emotions Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples and individuals. I have an eclectic but client-centered approach that prioritizes the lived experience of those I work with. I hold a master’s degree from Sofia University in counseling psychology with a focus in marriage and family therapy. I also hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Bloomsburg University.

As a therapist, I have experience working with neurodivergence, domestic violence, addiction, and homelessness. The commonality of all these experiences is trauma. Trauma metabolizes and compounds an already difficult experience and further alienates us from ourselves and those we love most. As such, I am a trauma-informed therapist and take a holistic approach that understands the impact that trauma has on individuals and relationships.

I spend my free time learning many styles of dance. I also love going to yoga, meditating at my local zen temple when I’m able to, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. I have two cats who I love very much.

Currently, I work with both couples and individuals who reside in the state of Oregon for in-person or online sessions.
