With over 30 years of experience helping individuals, couples and families, I remain devoted to helping people feel more balance, joy and well-being in all aspects of their lives. I specialize in providing a safe environment to explore and share feelings and needs, and to get back on the path to individual growth and healing as well as relationship health.

My areas of expertise include couples problem-solving and communication, mood challenges such as anxiety and depression, as well as out of balance behaviors such as over drinking, over eating, over spending and other addictive tendencies. I practice trauma-based care which means I help people resolve early emotional traumas that impact their current life. I’m certified in Emotional Brain Training and EMDR, and have advanced training in mindfulness based therapies, emotionally focused couples therapy, the Gottman method and Somatic therapy.

I received my education at Lewis and Clark college as well as the University of Utah and UCSF. I’ve worked in hospital settings, outpatient clinics, private practice and primary care settings. I love working with all types of clients and situations, and feel honored to do this deep and meaningful work.

I am the co-author of a book entitled, “Hold on to Yourself: How to Stay Cool in Hot Conversations” and the Director of Community Education with the Institute for Health Solutions at UCSF.

I work with clients who are residents of the state of Oregon.

I look forward to meeting you!
