I am wholeheartedly committed to providing professional couples counseling to help you in your journey of getting back the relationship where you feel loved, safe and connected with your partner again.
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) in the state of Oregon. I earned a Master’s of Science degree in Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University of Fullerton, and was awarded a professional promise award at the graduation ceremony.
My counseling style is warm and grounded in compassionate and effective principles of The Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. Over the past 8 year, I have been helping couples, who struggle with marital distress, infidelity and other attachment injuries, repair their relationship, restore trust and rebuild a loving bond.
In addition to couples counseling, I provide counseling to men and women, who struggle with a history of trauma, loss, depression and/or anxiety.
Before my counseling career, I worked as a Professor Assistant at St.Petersburg University in Russia, teaching World Literature and English Language.
After moving to the United States twenty years ago, I worked for nearly 15 years with children who experienced trauma and teenagers who struggled with drug and alcohol addiction.
Experiences in my own life inspired me to help people and become a marriage and family therapist. Although it is not easy, it is possible to heal from trauma and start enjoying life again.
I have a passion for inspiring people to connect with their inner strengths to experience personal growth, healing and empowerment.
While I consider helping people as my life mission, my other important missions are that of wife and mother. I am the happiest when I am with my loved ones. My other passions are reading, being out in the nature, and traveling.
I am licensed to work with clients from Oregon, Washington and California.
